In 2018 Decathlon continued to invest in the UK by opening 5 stores, building a 30,000m2 distribution hub in Northampton and opening our all new 10,000m2 UK campus store in London.

In 2028/19 we were proud to launch the Triban and Van|Rysel brands signifying a move away from b’Twin. A bold move, but the change is more than the name as these teams are now wholly independent to develop better products to fulfill customer needs with more innovation and in less time. When launching the Triban RC range, we gave hands on training to all staff, customer test days and full press launch. Our omni-channel launch had great content filmed in Scotland with our team mates and we organised a dedicated bike production facility in our Lille factory to speed up delivery and improve quality for online customers and stores.

Our unique bike box for home delivery has full drivetrain protection, floor stand and side opening for easy customer access. We reduced complaints by 80% for online customers.

To help customers in store, we’re now fully RFID with “autodrop” self checkouts which count up to 20 items a second. We’ve reduced till time by half for our customers.
