At Black Mountain Bikes we design and engineer innovative and unique children’s bicycles. We launched just over a year ago with our PINTO and SKØG ‘growing frames’ using our patented EPOK system that allows the bikes to transform from balance mode, into a small pedal bike and then into a larger pedal bike. Our goal has always been to end the sizing compromise that many parents have to face – having to buy a bike that is either too big or too small for their child.
Central to our design philosophy is that as kids grow and learn to ride, they go through stages – not just getting bigger, but also developing in confidence, pedalling strength and ability. We have thought up revolutionary ways of tackling these problems.
