Sandra has been the Director and joint owner of award-winning Pennine Cycles which is an independent bicycle dealer based in Bradford, West Yorkshire for 20 years. Sandra continues to contribute tirelessly to the cycle industry. The passion she has motivates and inspires people to cycle. Sandra is a natural networker, she continues to encourage and mentor entrepreneurs in business and in cycling. She was invited to be a “Dragon” at the University of Bradford’s Dragon Den event. She promotes the benefits of cycling both for physical and mental health and has always been involved in cycling initiatives to encourage cycling. She is an Ambassador for the Women’s cycling conference which was last held in Bradford. She’s a regular speaker at women’s networking events and spoke about diversity in local schools in March for International Women’s Day. She is the go-to woman for media on cycling subjects. Small Business Saturday and FSB have collaborated with Sandra for interviews and running workshops. She is well respected having travelled as a delegate of Trade Missions and to Trade Shows she has made an impact on all those she meets in the cycle industry and is influential winning the first English Women’s Business Award
