In 1985 before mountain biking was even considered an industry, racers became the backbone of Yeti’s product development efforts and that remains the same today. So many greats of MTB have ridden Yeti: John Tomac, Missy Giove, Jared Graves and now three times World Enduro champion Richie Rude.
Golden, Colorado remains the R&D hub where prototypes and race bikes are burned and tested, sometimes through countless iterations, as they push towards creating frames that are both beautiful and functional.
All this heritage would be worth nothing if Yeti rested on its laurels.
Carbon has replaced steel and Yeti’s patented Switch Infinity link has kept the brand at the pinnacle of ride dynamics. 2018 saw the arrival of three amazing 29er models the SB100, SB130 and SB150. These amazed the MTB world and have won multiple awards. 2019 will see another raft of exciting new Yeti bikes to take the world by storm.
Yeti buyers now not only ride the coolest, fastest mountain bikes on the planet but are backed by a lifetime frame warranty and, in a world of direct to market brands, a network of knowledgeable and passionate UK Yeti stores.
